California Proposition 65
California's Proposition 65, or Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Prop 65) entitles California consumers to special warnings for certain products that contain chemicals above certain threshold levels.
The general Proposition 65 notice is as follows:
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Proposition 65 notice for brass products is as follows:
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
