About Total Control
In 1994, Refrigeration Supplies Distributor added Total Control to its name. Using Refrigeration Supplies
Distributor or RSD had for many years no longer reflected what services we were providing our customers.
Since early in its history, RSD had been selling products like control systems, cooling towers, air-conditioning
components, and heating supplies. It was a transition RSD was used to.
In 1907 until 1978, Refrigeration Supplies Distributor was a DBA for The Starr Piano Company, Pacific Division.
We now are known as Refrigeration Supplies Distributor-Total Control or RSDTC. Each of our locations sells and
support systems and components that can provide a total control of environmental conditions required by our
customers.
Three of our locations specialize in control applications and U.L. 508 panel fabrication. They use the name
Total Control exclusively. These are located in Lake Forest, Roseville, and San Jose California.

Custom Assembly
Total Control uses U.L. listed parts to manufacture control panels for whatever the need. Come to us with your
requirements and our consultants will work with you to determine and develop the ideal control panel solution.
In addition, we can design and assemble panels from your supplied U.L. approved parts and components. Total
Control also provides peripheral devices for a complete operating control system.
