Compressor Failure Analysis

RSD is hosting a hands-on compressor teardown training class with Copeland. The course will cover the causes and cures of compressor failure, lack of lubrication, and acid contamination. It will also go over the effect and indication of slugging, flood-back, loss of oil, and high discharge temperatures.

Hands-On Motor Class

RSD is hosting a hands-on motor class with Mars. The course will provide an overall introduction to motor basics and how they operate. It will offer a better understanding of standard induction motors, ECM motors, ECM HVACR applications, and ECM commercial refrigeration applications. Topics over the "Azure" Motor (ECM/X-13 replacement) will also be covered. This is a NATE certified class.
